Meet The Team

Justin Janoson

Founder and President

In 2017, Justin founded the JSAA because he was inspired to help people like his twin sister enjoy things that people often take for granted. He has been dedicated to making the world a more accepting place. Justin was Social Action/Tikkun Olam Vice President of his synagogue, BethRock USY and now serves as the videographer for Ruach USY. He is currently a high school senior at Herricks HS. There, he is the president of the TV Studio Club. He is looking to pursue his Master's Degree in Film and Television Production at Quinnipiac University.

Helena Danziger

Volunteer Coordinator

Helena started working with the JSAA in 2018. Since then, she has been a vital part of the behind-the-scenes action. Outside of the JSAA, Helena has volunteered at Horseability and the Oceanside Jewish Community Center's special needs summer camp with special needs children and serves as the Co-President of Plainview Jewish Center's USY chapter. She is a high school senior at Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK HS. She is looking to pursue a degree that allows her to work with children and help better society at SUNY New Paltz.

Cooper Levine

Public Relations

Cooper has been helping with the JSAA since 2017. He is currently a high school senior at Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK HS where he is the co-president of the Kindness Club. He has also been working at Driftwood Day Camp as a counselor for young children. Cooper has designed the first batch of shirt designs. He is looking to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in childhood education at SUNY Oneonta.
